Sustainable sculptural plant stakes by Secateur Me Baby. A Covid-19 project that turned into an accidental career & company was founded in 2020. Secateur Me Baby founded by Mike Sullivan which champions sustainable materials and circularity in manufacturing and design. We highlight full transparency and methodology in production processes, whilst sharing our stories and vision for circularity through social media.

The Sustainable Innovation Club is a monthly meetup for Melbourne-based designers, researchers and business owners who are innovating for a circular future.
WHAT. A monthly meetup for passionate sustainability innovators. The group is open to anyone interested or involved in sustainable innovations across all industries. The group is not open to the public, although anyone can be invited.
WHY. No one person or business can build a circular economy. It requires a community of ideas and innovations, a collective consciousness striving for the same goal. By gathering likeminded innovators from all industries we can find new perspectives, build on ideas and open collaborations to a sustainable future.
This club is inspired by Brain Eno's term: 'Scenius'. It refers to the idea that any historically recognised genius did not innovate in solitude. Their innovation is the tip an iceberg built from a community of likeminded multidisciplinary people who collectively shaped new ideas and perspectives. We believe innovation towards circularity requires a deep collaborative approach such as this. We also know how many inspiring individuals and businesses in Melbourne are working towards the same goals. Melbourne is brewing a sustainability scenius. And that is deeply exciting.
