Roving Restorers - Conondale
Event description
Sign up now to join the Roving Restorers at Di's place in Conondale, on Friday the 28th of February!
We’ll be tackling a range of invasive species, including grasses, herbaceous annuals, vines, and woody weeds—all of which threaten the health of the Mary River catchment and surrounding ecosystems. Whether you're a seasoned volunteer or new to environmental work, there’s something for everyone. You’ll be making a real difference while enjoying the outdoors and socialising with friends and like-minded community members.
All ages are welcome, no experience required, and all tools will be provided, as well as a tasty morning tea with friends.
Please meet at the back of the Maleny IGA Carpark at 7.30am for an 8.00am start on site. Long-sleeved shirt, trousers, closed-in shoes and hat are essential (Work Place Health and Safety Regulations). Please do not attend if you have any cold or flu symptoms.
