Join us in the Piper Pavilion for the launch of the 2022/2023 Rowing Season.
Meet our new Director of Rowing, Tim Hennessy and our Senior Coach, Brian Richardson.
As a student, Tim was Captain of Boats at St Peter’s College, before representing the AIS and various state and national squads. As a coach he spent the last 5 years coaching St Peter's rowers and previously was 1st VIII coach at Pembroke. He has also had experience as a strength and conditioning coach with the South Australian Institute of Sport.
Brian is a PAC old boy and is an Australian former rower and rowing coach. He competed at the national elite level over a fifteen-year period representing both South Australian and Victoria. He was a representative at three world championships and at the 1976 Montreal and the 1980 Moscow Olympics. In a twenty-three year coaching career, he held national head coaching roles in both Canada and Australia from 1993 to 2008 and personally coached national crews to twelve world championships or Olympic medals.
