Royal Society of SA AGM and Grant Recipient Presentations
Event description
November is a big month for the Royal Society of South Australia, with our Annual General Meeting and November Scientific Presentations to be held on Thursday, 14th of November 2024 at 6:00pm in the Royal Society rooms and via zoom.
The Royal Society has had a very positive year, with brilliant speakers and several successful large events, and we would love to have you join us as we conclude events for 2024. The November AGM is your opportunity to hear more details on the general business of the Royal Society as well as provide us with your input and constructive comments to help guide the society into the new year.
The business of the Annual General Meeting will include:
* Minutes of the 2023 Annual General Meeting
* Annual Report from the President
* Audited Financial Report for FY 2023/24
* Appointment of Councillors for 2025
A separate notice of meeting and agenda will be distributed soon, and all members of the RSSA are welcome to attend the AGM in person or online.
The AGM will be followed by presentations from our 2023 Small Grant Recipients. They will be presenting on their research, funded by the Royal Society. We are looking forward to a diversity of presentations, showcasing the great and broad research conducted by students and Early Career Researchers, that the Royal Society has been able to support.Â
More information will be provided later about the program for this part of the evening.
We look forward to seeing you there.
