Moderators

Greg Tyrell
Executive Director, Australian Association for Uncrewed Systems (AAUS)
Greg has over 25 years of experience in the drone industry, is a CASA-certified drone operator with 2,500+ BVLOS hours, and has worked as a Chief Remote Pilot. Since 2014, Greg has led AAUS, growing its membership to over 4,500. He actively contributes to government committees to support the growth of uncrewed aviation in Australia.

Andrew Ward
Manager, Emerging Technologies, CASA
Andrew leads CASA’s work on emerging aviation technologies, including RPAS, AAM, and UTM. With over 24 years at CASA, he has held key international roles on the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) RPAS Panel. Andrew is a licensed glider and aeroplane pilot, holds a RePL (rotorcraft), and has a master’s in aviation management.

A range of CASA subject matter experts will also present on work underway.
