The RSOM Networking Nights have brought hundreds of songwriters together, creating a safe space for songwriters, producers and creatives of all ages, genres, genders, backgrounds and experience levels to build their contact list, meet potential collaborators and seek expert advice from Australia’s leading music industry professionals.

The Real Songwriters of Melbourne is an independent organisation that exists to support, celebrate and educate emerging artists. Established in 2014 by entrepreneur, artist mentor and communications executive Jena Marino, RSOM has facilitated the development of hundreds of songwriters across Melbourne, Regional Victoria, interstate and overseas through their variety of events and programs.

ACCESSIBILITY: Golden Gate Hotel South Melbourne is an accessible venue. Accessible entry is available via the main entrance, with accessible toilets located on the ground floor. Please email info@rsom.au if you have any specific requirements so our team can assist.

DIETARY REQUIREMENTS: If you have any dietary requirements, please specify them at checkout. All requirements must be submitted at least 4 days prior to the event (as per venue deadline).

PARKING: Plenty of street parking is available on Clarendon Street and surrounding streets after 6pm.

PUBLIC TRANSPORT: Golden Gate Hotel is easily accessible via tram and bus, with stops nearby on Clarendon Street.

MEDIA: Members of the RSOM Team will be photographing and filming throughout the event. By registering, you agree to being filmed/photographed, and content may be used for promotional purposes on RSOM’s website and social channels.

AGE POLICY: Songwriters under 18 must be accompanied by a parent/legal guardian.
