RSPCA NSW Cat Management Workshop

Dear All,

We are excited to announce that the RSPCA NSW Cat Management Workshop will be returning in 2026, and we would love to welcome you back.Following the success of last year's workshop, we are once again bringing together local government staff, animal welfare organisations, rescue groups and other professionals with an interest in evidence-based cat management.

Please save the date:

Monday 14 September – Tuesday 15 September 2026
RSPCA NSW Education Centre, Yagoona

The workshop will once again feature presentations from leading experts in cat management and welfare, practical discussions, and opportunities to share knowledge and experiences with colleagues from across Australia and abroad. One of the highlights of the workshop will again be the opportunity to learn about cat transect monitoring and participate in field transects, a method for monitoring and quantifying free-roaming cat populations. Whether you are new to transects or looking to build on last year's experience, this practical component will provide valuable skills that can be applied in your own community.A full program, presenter information and registration details will be shared closer to the event. In the meantime, we hope you can save the dates in your calendar, and we look forward to seeing you in September.

Kind regards,

The Keeping Cats Safe at Home Team
