Join RTCON20 to catch Aaron Johnston's PD session on 'Teaching strategies 101 for literacy and maths'
In this session Aaron will explore the phases of learning and explore a range of teaching strategies that will cater for the needs all students and allow you to deepen their knowledge, understanding and skills in the areas of Literacy and Numeracy.
Aaron is an Assistant Principal from Central Coast NSW. He has been teaching for 12 years and has worked as in a casual, temporary and permanent capacity across a range of school sizes contexts.
Aaron is passionate about excellence in teaching and learning, seeing all students achieve their potential whilst support the social, emotional and wellbeing needs of his students and school community.
He currently works in a future focused learning environment, teaching in a collaborative, open planned learning space using a variety of new, exciting and innovative teaching practices.
