Footprints by the Sea – Ruakākā Fun Run & Walk 🌊👣

Come along and join us for the very first Footprints by the Sea. Ruakākā Fun Run & Walk, proudly brought to you by the Ruakākā School PTA.

Taking place on Saturday 3 April 2027, Footprints by the Sea is about bringing our tamariki, whānau and wider community together for a fun day of movement, connection and hauora, while enjoying the beautiful coastal environment we're lucky enough to call home.

Whether you're a runner, a walker, bringing the kids along, gathering a group of friends or simply keen to be part of a great community day, everyone is welcome.

Choose the option that suits you:

• 👣 Family Walk approx. 3 km

• 🏃 5 km Run/Walk

• 🏃‍♀️ 10 km Run/Walk

This isn't just about crossing the finish line. We want Footprints by the Sea to be an event where people can get outside, be active, spend time together and enjoy everything that makes our little part of Bream Bay special.

Expect a relaxed, family-friendly atmosphere with music, food and drinks, spot prizes, medals and plenty of community spirit.

Most importantly, this is a Ruakākā School PTA fundraiser, with proceeds helping us continue to create opportunities and experiences for our tamariki and support our school community.

So bring your whānau, round up your friends, lace up your shoes and come make some footprints with us!
