Ruang x Brilliant star speech pathology
Description
Have you ever caught yourself comparing your child's milestones to another child's? Or noticed something that made you quietly wonder if your toddler is behind?
As mothers, we carry so much pressure for our child to develop "well" or "on time," and it's easy to feel stuck between telling yourself you're overthinking it and feeling like something isn't right.
Ruang is partnering with Dr Natalie, speech pathologist, for a short talk and Q&A designed just for mums navigating these questions.
What we'll cover:
🗣️ What to actually look out for when it comes to speech delay
🧭 How and when to seek help, and what that first step looks like
📋 What assessments are available and what to expect from them
📚 Resources and next steps you can walk away with
We'll close with an open Q&A. Bring the questions you've been sitting on, the ones that feel too small for a GP appointment but too big to keep carrying alone.
You don't need a diagnosis or a plan to attend. You just need to have noticed something.
We will be serving tea, coffee and light snacks.
