Rubbish Art Workshop: Plastic Bottle Cup and Ball game
Event description
Rubbish Art Workshop
Curious what rubbish art is?Â
Charlotte, founder of Earth Child Sydney, created Rubbish Art as a workshop to share with families and educators (and for your inner child- so don't worry if you have no child to bring along, crafting can't be left to just the children :)) to learn how to use your would-be rubbish items and make them into craft or toys.Â
Charlotte has worked with children for over 14 years and loves the curiosity and creativeness that children show around the loose parts and recycled craft and wants to support others to enjoy in this as well as reducing and reusing waste.Â
This is our first in-person event in 2022!Â
Instead of throwing your plastic bottles in the bin, bring them along and make a plastic cup and ball game with it. The designs we have for this month are a shark with a fish and a flower with a bee. (However, I'm sure that some people and children will want to make their own design). So not only do we enjoy the craft and engineering elements, you get a game to take with you to remind you that you reduced waste!Â
1-hour Workshop 1430-1530 at Bondi Beach Park.(Exact location will be sent once signed up.)
Sign up so that we can ensure we have enough spare resources and can organise accordingly.
All you need to bring used plastic bottles. (If you don't have any, don't let that stop you and we will bring along some spares.)
Feel free to bring old ping pong balls, small balls or small round shapes for your bee or fish.Â
