Rubbish Clean Up Day
Event description
Are you a Tidy Kiwi? Do you want to help us take care of our environment? Come along to a rubbish clean-up day in New Lynn!
Meet us at New Lynn Community Centre where we will provide you with rubbish bags, then head out to pick up as much rubbish as you can find while playing fun games. Afterwards, we’ll head back to New Lynn Community Centre to rest and celebrate our hard mahi with a free barbeque.
Remember to bring a hat, water bottle, and gardening gloves, and to wear comfortable shoes and clothes that you don’t mind getting dirty. If you have any rubbish-picking gear, feel free to bring them too!
This is a whanau friendly event - however children will need to be accompanied by an adult.
Together let’s take care of New Lynn and make our community rubbish free! This event is part of EcoFest 2025 and is supported by the Whau Local Board.
Free event, registrations not essential (but if you are able to grab a ticket please do so to register your interest).
