Ruby Gill made a movie of her third record "Fishing is not about fishing" and she's hiring a tiny cinema in Fitzroy to screen it! One night only, with two sessions available (6pm and 8.30pm).

The visualiser film was made with award-winning film-maker Em Dynes, and the pair will be there on the night for a part album preview and listening party, part private screening, and part Q+A and tiny performance.

There will be special edition pre-release merch on sale and you'll get to hear the album in full, with intimate camcorder visuals to accompany you on the emotional rollercoaster that is this new record...

Ruby Mary Gill is a South Africa-born, Australia-based musician and poet whose “lyrical wizardry” has earned her the reputation of unmissable. A two-time nominee for the Australian Music Prize, and recent winner of Best Country Album at the Australian Independent Records Awards, Ruby’s ARIA-charting, globally renowned sophomore record ‘Some Kind Of Control’ has made a name for her own genre of roguely spiritual, strange novella alt-folk.
