Run the Diagnostic: Stress, Burnout or Peri
Description
What this is
Stress, burnout, and perimenopause aren't three separate problems wearing the same coat. They're the same physiology under different load. The signals overlap. The treatment plans contradict each other. Most women I see in clinic have been told they're stressed, then told they're peri, then told they're depressed - usually in that order, usually by people who didn't connect any of it.
This workshop puts it all on one page.
We're going to look at the body as a system. What it's reading from the environment. What it's deciding about that input. What it's doing in response. Once you can see the system, you can run the system instead of the system running you.
Who it's for
Built for a mixed room. Women in midlife who keep being told it's just stress. Partners who want to actually understand what's happening at home. Leaders who manage teams full of people in this phase and would like to stop guessing. Coaches, clinicians, HR people who keep meeting this and don't have a frame for it.
You don't need a clinical background. You don't need to be in peri yourself. You need to be willing to think about the body as something more interesting than a problem to fix.
What you'll leave with
A working map of the three layers: Outside In (environment), Top Down (thoughts and beliefs), Bottom Up (physiology). Where each one is loading you, and where each one is paying off.
A read on what's actually stress, what's hormone shift, and what's the same wiring under different lighting.
The diagnostic questions to ask yourself (or someone you live with, lead, or coach) before reaching for a fix.
A few things you can practise immediately. Not 47 protocols. The minimum effective dose, in the spots that actually move the dial.
Format
[DURATION] online via [PLATFORM]. Live. Bring a notebook. Bring questions. Recording sent after if you can't make the live session, but the live work is where it lands — we run the diagnostic on real situations in the room.
About me
I'm Unna Goldsworthy. Accredited Exercise Physiologist, breath practitioner, and I've spent the last decade working with women who are running hard at work and at home, and noticing the body sending signals they're not sure how to read. My lens is neuroscience-based: how environment, thinking, and physiology actually shape behaviour, and how to use that as an operating manual instead of fighting it.
I built this workshop because the conversation about peri has been stuck on either symptoms or hormones. Both matter. Neither is the whole picture.
