We’re thrilled to have you joining us for this spectacular new Trailsplus experience, Run the Lighthouse at the Prom!
You asked for it… and we listened. This relaxed yet adventurous event brings you to one of Victoria’s most breathtaking natural playgrounds.

Expect rugged trails, squeaky beaches, and stunning coastal views, all wrapped in that unique Trailsplus community vibe.

🏕️ A Weekend for All

Bring your family, your friends, or just your adventurous spirit!
Tidal River and its surroundings offer endless opportunities to explore, swim, hike, or simply relax after your run.

Accommodation inside Tidal River is limited for 2026, so we strongly recommend booking early via Parks Victoria or nearby options outside the park.
It’s also an easy day trip from Melbourne (just 2.5 hours) if you prefer a quick getaway.

🗺️ Course & Navigation

Our courses are unmarked but easy to follow with a map or navigation app.
This adds a little extra adventure, and a great excuse to engage your trail senses!

Please take time to review course maps and race details on the website so you know exactly what’s ahead.

🎒 Mandatory Gear

Safety is our top priority.
All long-distance runners must have complete mandatory gear to start, no gear, no race start.
Mandatory gear does not apply to the 6km and may be relaxed for the 21km depending on the forecast.
Check the event info to make sure you’re covered and ready.

💡 Parking & Park Entry: Fees may apply, check the Parks Vic site
🏕️ Trailsplus Camp Sites: We’ve reserved six sites for volunteers (and may offer extras to runners if available).
