Rural City of Wangaratta Council Candidates Forum: Environment and Sustainability

Thank you for registering for the candidates' forum being held on Thursday 3 October at CWA Hall Templeton St Wangaratta. We are requesting that people arrive by 5:20 pm so that the Forum starts at 5:30 sharp.

This FREE event has been organised ahead of the Rural City of Wangaratta Council elections to allow candidates to present to the community and outline their values and priorities regarding our environment and sustainability.

All candidates who have nominated have been invited to attend, including the two Wards where only one person has nominated.   

At the forum, each candidate will have the opportunity to introduce themselves and present what they see as important in how the Rural City of Wangaratta Council should approach issues related to our environment and sustainability.

Questions will also be sought from the audience. We are asking that potential questions be considered early and delivered by 5:20pm. The common issues and questions that are relevant at local government level can then be put to the candidates in the Q & A .     

Wangaratta Landcare & Sustainability is hosting this forum in collaboration with several other Landcare groups from across the Wangaratta municipality.
