Event description

Join us for the official opening of the Charles Sturt University Rural Health Research Institute (RHRI) and the 2025 RHRI Symposium — a celebration of impactful research dedicated to transforming health outcomes in rural and regional communities.

This event marks the conclusion of our first phase of research, generously funded by the Australian Government Department of Health and Aged Care. We invite you to join us for this special rural research and networking event.

The RHRI has been established to conduct leading-edge research addressing the rural health gap in communities across regional and remote Australia and internationally. Come and hear about the diverse and impactful research projects our teams have been working on, including:

  • Rural Health, and health service delivery
  • Addressing First Nations health inequity
  • Improving child health outcomes
  • Enhancing health and medical research capacity

The RHRI Symposium highlights the real-world impact of rural health research and celebrates the power of collaboration, innovation, and community partnerships.
