Technology in the family: Helping women keep their teens safe online

    Presented by: Bec Martin, Evolve
    When: Thursday September 12, 5:30PM-7:00PM
    Where: Yackandandah Public Hall

Join us for an insightful session on navigating technology with your teens. We'll cover popular platforms and discuss the role of parents in balancing removal vs. monitoring while building trust with your kids. Learn effective ways to talk to your teens about what they are seeing and doing online, and understand the impact of tech on their sleep. Discover strategies to combat harmful content such as misinformation and misogyny. We'll also showcase how technology can be used for advocacy and creativity, sharing inspiring success stories along the way.

    What to bring:

BYO phone, tablet, laptop, or whatever device you have.
Don't have a device? No problems. Please let our team know at info@ruralwomenonline.org.au and we will provide one for you.
