Ruth Tuck 70th Birthday Watercolour Classes

Ruth Tuck Art School is turning 70 — and it’s splashing into its birthday with a burst of colour!

Established in 1950 by the legendary watercolourist Ruth Tuck, this beloved South Australian institution has been nurturing creativity for generations. To celebrate its platinum jubilee, the school is throwing a vibrant party of paint at Carclew with watercolour workshops that are as joyful and expressive as Ruth’s own brushstrokes. Alongside a dazzling exhibition showcasing student and alumni works, these workshops invite kids (aged 4-11) to dip into the magic of watercolour and printmaking. Whether you're a seasoned artist or just curious to try something new, come celebrate 75 years of artistic wonder, enthusiasm, and high-quality materials — the Ruth Tuck way! 

 
Thanks to the generosity of Ruth Tuck Art School all tickets are at the heavily discounted rate of $25. Come celebrate with Ruth Tuck and take your own masterpiece home.

• Capacity: Capacity is strictly limited to the amount of equipment so please book early to reserve your spot. 

• Accessibility: This event takes place at Carclew’s North Adelaide location with ramp access at the rear of the building. We will also have a sensory room available for chill out time.
