Rolling into August, and things are starting to heat up. Just like in July, the new month welcomes in some fresh faces, both in the booth and the bookings. Cassette is one of our nearest and dearest, and one of the longest-running DJs still strutting her stuff in the Sydney and wider Oceanic scene. She’s been put in charge of the local programming for the 5 weeks of August and will also be donning her Sunday best, swinging on in to host each week for S.A.S.H By Night at Carousel.

Her second week in in the spreadsheets, Cassette has invited down Beandip & Walker from Brisbane to take control of the platters that matter. Both have made their mark in our stables across Australia, most recently joining us to open up the night superbly with a super class warmup a couple of months back in Sydney. This time they trade the early warmth for the peak time rollers. Eddy Wells steps into the close for the night, having bounced back and forth between Sydney and Brisbane over the last few years he’s very familiar with both our regular haunts and no stranger to the boys in bold either. Adding another dash of delicacy from our North Eastern friends, Auntie Brenda joins the crew on the flight down to Sydney to go toe to toe and row for row with Kemba to warm up the boys. Our competition winner slot for this week belongs to the talented DonFe, who’s mix submission stood out from most others, notably for his tasteful selection of deep, warm and stripped back tunes.

As always, our focus for homegrown talent is a must, and with S.A.S.H’s goal to expand our community, the opening slot is on offer to a fresh new face to saddle up on the horse. Announced weekly, an eager jockey will take control of the club to kick things into gear for the evening.

Refunds are only available when an event has been cancelled or rescheduled, or where required by Australian Consumer Law. You may wish to explore options for insurance; and (b) neither S.A.S.H nor any relevant Event Partner shall be responsible or liable to you for any loss of enjoyment or amenity, including where an event has been cancelled, rescheduled or altered; and (c) neither S.A.S.H nor a relevant Event Partner shall be responsible or liable to you (and you will not be entitled to any refund) if admission to a Venue or event is refused or revoked at any time as a result of your breach of the Venue or Event Partner's terms and conditions; and (d) neither S.A.S.H nor a relevant Event Partner will be responsible for any personal property taken into the event.
