Join us next Wednesday the 15th of May for a fabulous night of delicious vino at your favourite neighbourhood haunt, Strange Company!

noun. the quality of being particularly good, so as to deserve praise.
verb. to be worthy of attention. 

You may be familiar with Wines Of Merritt  from tasting their small-batch, low-intervention wines of texture and character from Margaret River. They have also released a beautiful gin with an oceanic twist and we will be privy to a little bit of both on this one off Strange Tastes. Hints of chamomile, white pepper and coastal daisy make this botanical style gin smooth and interesting with a gorgeous floral finish. The perfect way to start any night!

The dynamic duo Nick (Maker) and Sarah (Master) started off making single vineyard, low-intervention wines with left of centre varieties and techniques. The wines are made with a light touch, avoiding fining and filtering while being sensitive to their needs rather than imposing pre-existing recipes.

On arrival we will be treated to one of their signature gin and tonics which is made from the delicious Oceanic Gin!

The wine tasting will follow with samples of:

23 Chenin Blanc

22 Chardonnay

23 Cabernet Franc

22 Grenache

A delicious selection of snacks will be prepared by our team of kitchen all-stars as always which will compliment the tasting perfectly.

This is a FREE event, however as places are limited, RSVP is essential.

Booking fee of $10 is fully redeemable over the bar on the night. We have implemented this due to no shows that were causing others to miss out but as always, this is an educational experience put on by us, for you!
