Description

Quality and Safeguarding Network

The disability sector continues to navigate significant change, making it more important than ever to stay connected, informed and focused on quality practice.

Join colleagues from across the sector for the NDS Quality and Safeguarding Network, chaired by Mel Kubisa, CEO of Community Living Options (CLO).

This network provides an opportunity for providers, quality leaders and practitioners to come together to discuss emerging issues, share insights and explore practical approaches to delivering safe, high-quality supports.

Special Panel Discussion: Positive Behaviour Support and Restrictive Practices

Following strong sector interest, this session will feature a panel discussion focused on Positive Behaviour Support and restrictive practices.

The panel will provide an opportunity to explore current practice issues, emerging challenges and practical questions from providers, with time dedicated to discussion and Q&A.

We want the conversation to reflect the issues that matter most to the sector. If you have a question you would like put to the panel, you are very welcome to send it in advance to liv.king@nds.org.au.

Each session will also include:

  • Updates on changes to practice standards, quality requirements and safeguarding expectations.

  • Guest speakers from across the disability sector sharing real-world experience and practical insights.

  • Discussion of current consultation topics and emerging reform issues.

  • Opportunities for questions, peer learning and sector-wide discussion.

  • Practical advice, resources and ideas that you can take back to your organisation and apply immediately.

Whether you work in quality, operations, practice leadership, compliance or service delivery, this network is designed to support continuous improvement, strengthen quality practice and create a space for the sector to work through complex issues together.

Connect. Learn. Share. Strengthen practice.
