SAARI SYDNEY - Beyond Loneliness Gathering

Welcome to the SAARI 2025 Gadigal (Sydney) event series! 

The SAARI team is excited to invite you to our next event - a gathering to talk about how we understand and combat loneliness. 

Research from Ending Loneliness Together, the national initiative to end loneliness, says Approximately 1 in 3 Australians feel lonely. Loneliness affects people of all ages and from all walks of life.You can be surrounded by people and still feel lonely. You can be alone and not feel lonely. Loneliness that lasts can be harmful to our wellbeing. 

The good news is wanting connection is part of being human. We're social beings who thrive when we feel heard, seen and understood, and creating spaces for that to occur is our mission at SAARI. 

How do we spot the signs and help design events that build connection and start to wash away feeling of loneliness? Come join us at this fun and exclusive community gathering to find out, share stories, be heard, learn about wellbeing, feel connected and leave uplifted. Oh, and there will be lots of food too!
