- Sacred Breathwork Journey & Kundalini Activation (60-75 min) with integration, regenerative savasana & accompanied by vocal guidance, soul-invoking music, sound healing instruments & essential oils.

- Space for journalling, integrating & connecting in Women's Circle (and connecting afterwards in community!)

WHAT MAY ARISE & CONTRAINDICATIONS

Please read the below carefully before booking, as there are certain contraindications to Conscious, Connected Breathwork so we can ensure your safety. This is a multi-dimensional and full-spectrum experience and we want to ensure you feel empowered, informed and inspired for your journey!

The majority of breathers during their first journeys experience deep emotional release or catharsis, which not always, but at times may feel intense, triggering or uncomfortable. Most will release emotional content that has been lodged in the body for many years. One may experience anything arising from tears, sacred rage, anger, grief, fear, shame, pain to laughter, joy, bliss, ecstasy, pleasure, connection and feelings of floating or freedom, and anything and everything in between.

This is a safe and gentle space where the full spectrum and totality of your emotional experience is invited, welcomed and encouraged for deep healing, awakening and reclaiming. These emotions are parts of self that may be unconsciously repressed/ignored/shut-down in waking life, and during the Breathwork Journey may surface to be fully and uninhibitedly expressed, explored, integrated or released. By clearing these emotions from our energy channels, body tissues and nervous system, we are able to create more space to experience love, bliss, joy, creativity, inspiration, clarity and other higher vibrational tones.

These sessions are a safe space where you have full permission to meet, feel, express and explore all parts of self, where you will be held in compassion and total non-judgment. It is important to note that while some emotions may be experienced as intense or uncomfortable, all emotions are body intelligence and we can learn to reap their wisdom when we lean toward, and not away from them - transmuting our wounds into wisdom.

Breathwork & Kundalini Activation results in certain physiological changes in the body and also can also cause intense physical and emotional release. These sessions are safe, transformative and deeply healing, however breathwork may sometimes cause the following to arise:

- Tingling, buzzing, vibrating, trembling, shaking or other physical sensations, including spontaneous movements, temperature fluctuations and tetany (tightness in the hands/jaw)
- Somatic (body) unwinding
- Deep emotional experiencing, trauma release or emotional catharsis. This process can potentially bring up intense emotions, memories, strong physical experiences or sensations.
- Access or unlock inner wisdom and intuition
- Experience feelings of love, peace, compassion, gratitude, pleasure, joy, bliss, creativity, inspiration and passion
- Experiencing life force energy (prana) moving through your body
- Unlocking repressed sensual/orgasmic/shakti energies
- Ecstatic, kundalini awakenings, activating light language or vocal activations
- Expanded states of consciousness, mystical or transcendental experiences

Also none of these experiences may happen & you may have a very inward journey!

CONTRAINDICATIONS
As a safety precaution, the following conditions are specifically *contraindicated* for Breathwork Journeys, in alignment with globally recognised standards of Breathwork Safety.

If you are on the contraindication list, you are *NOT* a candidate for the full Conscious Connected Breathwork Journey. Before continuing to book a session, please email me at madeline@thebreathtemple.com.au, to discuss if a modified gentle breath is suitable and safe for you.

- Pregnancy
- Severe PTSD or trauma (gentle breathwork may be ok)
- Altered State (i.e. Actively using recreational drugs or within one week of Plant Medicine)
- Taking any Rx medications that alter brain chemistry, including anti-anxiety, anti-depressants, ADD, OCD etc (Gentle Breathwork may be suitable)
- Prescription blood thinners or anti-clotting medications
- Osteoporosis (Gentle Breathwork may be suitable)
- Detached Retina or Glaucoma
- Kidney disease
- Diabetes
- Uncontrolled Thyroid conditions (exception: if thyroid condition is under control with medication, Gentle Breathwork may be suitable)
- High Blood Pressure, cardiovascular disease, including angina, previous heart attack, arrhythmia or other cardiovascular issues, including pericarditis/myocarditis or cardiovascular surgery.
- Severe Asthma (Exception: mild to moderate asthma, you can take a Gentle or Full Breathwork Journey but you must bring your inhaler to the session)
- Diagnosis of aneurysm of any kind
- Epilepsy, history of seizures, strokes, TIA or history of other brain/neurological conditions or disorders
- Infectious or Contagious Disease (please wait until fully recovered)
- Recent surgery, stitches or major injury (please wait until fully recovered or received green-light from doctor for normal exercise)
- Prior diagnosis of bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, psychosis or previous psychiatric condition
- Severe psychosomatic disorder
- Hospitalisation for any psychiatric condition or emotional crisis within the last 10 years. Please seek approval from psychiatrist or doctor for trauma/subconscious work before booking.
- Any other medical, psychiatric or physical conditions which would impair or affect ability to engage in any activities that involve deep physical and/or emotional release.
