Sacred earth: Honouring Gaia Through Movement

On this night we honour the Earth and all her living wonders.

Through sweat, breath and movement we offer our dance as a prayer—a celebration of life itself. More than simply moving our bodies, we gather in shared intention, connecting to the living world beneath our feet and the rhythms that have called humanity to dance since ancient times.

The soundtrack for this journey draws inspiration from ritual, folk, Celtic and world traditions. Expect earthy percussion, drum beats, soaring melodies and timeless songs woven into a rich tapestry of movement. Music to awaken the spirit and stir the bones.

Gaia is a gift to all who call this planet home. As we dance, we remember our place within the great web of life. We release what has been, surrender what may come, and arrive fully in the present moment—heart open, feet grounded, moving together for the Earth.

Dance the dance only you can dance.

There are no steps to learn, no right or wrong way to move. Just you, the music, the dance floor and the freedom to express whatever is alive within you.

Dancing Dhevas is a free-form movement practice that invites authenticity, presence and connection. In a space without words, we discover new ways of listening, communicating and belonging. We are a growing community of dancers who come together to celebrate life in all its beauty, mystery and complexity.

Saturday July 4th, 6:30 to 9pm, DOORS SHUT at 7:00 no entry after then.

Waged - $30 + BF

Concession - $25 + BF

$1-100 Pay it forward - Add a donation to help those in need of financial assistance get to a dance. Dancing Dhevas will match your donation.

Cancellation & Event Guidelines

Refunds or ticket transfers to another event can be requested up to 24 hours before the event. After this time, tickets may be transferred to a friend by the ticket holder.

This is an alcohol-free, drug-free, and smoke-free event. Management reserves the right to refuse entry to ensure the safety and integrity of the space.

We invite full presence on the dance floor — no mobile phones, photography, or Shazam. Please arrive ready to be here, just as others are.

This is a barefoot, non-verbal dance space. No shoes and no talking on the dance floor. We gather because we love to dance, to listen, and to move together.

This event is not suitable for kids, (18+)

First Time at Dancing Dhevas?

Dancing Dhevas is a free-form conscious dance practice that invites you to move as only you can — with authenticity, curiosity, and freedom. It’s an opportunity to let go of judgement and discover a dance that is uniquely yours, one that can’t be copied or performed.

Conscious dance is an active meditation. As each person drops into their own movement, the room shifts — energy builds, barriers soften, and natural ecstasy emerges. There’s no right or wrong way to dance, only presence.

Come as you are, or bring a friend. We share the floor with like-minded souls, moving together and celebrating life in all its complexity, moment by moment.
