Alyx Somas' is formally educated in Experiential Education and Developmental Psychology, and carries 13 years of experience within the K-12 school system and community youth initiatives. Being raised in a family of 200+ folks, they deeply carry what it means to love and honor children as precious and unique gifts for the collective.
It is an honor to be considered in working with your kin in this way.
This cultural healing work is emerging as part of my life path as a Native Northern American person who carries these prayers and practices from my lineage and deeply within my bones
Accessibility in this work is important to me, as is disrupting the historic dynamic of indigenous people sharing their gifts and receiving little to no reciprocity in return
I appreciate working with sliding scales to support both accessibility for others and sustainability for my work
Use this "Green Bottle" image to consider where your family falls on the scale for accessing and fairly compensating this exchange -- with the first bottle placing you within the Reciprocity Tier, the second within the Sustaining Tier, and the third within the Supported Tier
*After reviewing the Green Bottle sliding scale, if the recommended tier feels out of reach for your family, please message me to tell me about your situation and what amount feels doable for you through emailing thecollectivityproject@gmail.com—accessibility is important to this work
