Event description

Please join us for a special presentation relating to alcohol and drugs by renowned speaker and researcher, Mr Paul Dillon Director of Drug and Alcohol Research and Training Australia (DARTA).

Mr Dillon is passionate about ensuring that students and parents have access to accurate and up-to-date research and information about alcohol and other drugs. He has been working in the area of drug education for more than 25 years and has delivered presentations to Year 10, 11 and 12 students at Sacred Heart for the past decade. Mr Dillon's presentation will cover topics such as:

  • Teens, parties, alcohol and vapes: What do parents need to know
  • Alcohol, parties and gatherings: A guide for parents
  • ‘Risk taking’ – why do teens do the things they do? What can parents do to keep them as safe as possible.
