Calling all music and sound lovers for a monthly Sacred Music Jamming Night! Bring your own unique music instruments of choice, including your voice and we’ll just allow ourselves to get into the flow of where music wants to take us for the night.

• No formal musical background necessary.

• Play from your heart and with others.

• Enjoy spontaneous music making and cultivate your inner music.

• Improve your musicianship and listening skills.

If you can shake a shaker, you can join. If you can make a sound with your voice, you can join. We are not looking for professional singers or musicians for any bands. This is solely jamming from our hearts! So if you’ve always wanted to make some music together as a community, I invite you to bring your heart, soul, instruments and voice to join us.

We appreciate your koha donation for entry for our pantry of snacks, tea and use of venue.

By joining this circle, you agree to take care of the space and any instruments that is available in the circle for usage. Please do not use any instruments in the studio that is NOT meant for the circle for jamming purposes. Your respect and cooperation is greatly appreciated.

Dates: Every last Thurs of each month (note some months will be skipped)

Time: From 6pm to 8:30pm (come when you can, leave when you must)

Venue: Rainbowls & Reiki Studio, 1004 Plymouth Road

Energy exchange: Koha at the door available but you need to message to inform of your participation to ensure sufficient space.

Tea & light snacks will be provided. Shakers and some drums will be provided. Definitely bring your own instruments if you play any!

*PLS NOTE: this is NOT a music class. You are not expected to follow, and everyone is free to lead! Musicians or non-musicians are welcome. Kindly note there will be no refunds, but you can transfer your seat to someone else for the date you purchase if you can't make it last minute. There will be NO TRANSFER to a future jamming date.

About Your Host:

Joey has been described as a powerful sound medicine woman who has led many transformative sound healing ceremonies from Singapore to New Zealand. Deeply grounded in her sound healing practices, with reverence for Shamanic journeys, and the power of sound vibrations and frequencies, she curates multi-instrumental sound journeys cocooning clients into states of bliss, clarity, purpose, peace and deep healing. A certified Moonologer, she works closely with the lunar energies to facilitate Full Moon and New Moon manifestation ceremonies. Joey communes with nature through Native American Flute music and the ancient art of frame drumming, teaching students to use these sacred sound instruments to connect back within themselves, to their hearts and souls, with focus on self-empowerment through rhythms and self-healing through soul songs from the flutes. Joey gently guides you back into your own unique vibrational frequency through somatic vocal healing, allowing you to embrace your own unique voice as your most important healing instrument that you carry within yourself, rewriting any of your old beliefs and stories about your own voice. Joey is known to possess the ability to share spiritual teachings in a very grounded way that one can easily understand and embody. She is happy to be called a witch, but is definitely not your woo woo fairy sound mother. She embodies sound healing through the physics of sound vibrations, backed by experiential research. Through her learnings and merging modalities, she leads you into a healing journey of your own, with the sounds she weaves in the spaces she holds. A devotee to mantra chanting, she teaches mantras as a daily meditative practice to shift inner consciousness and embody the qualities of the Divine through Kirtan. Joey is also the guardian of her therapy animals that live on her land in Koru, Taranaki, along with the enchanting forest and healing river that runs through her property.
