Please, join us on the 7th night of Chanukah for a heartwarming song circle and lively community jam featuring the incredibly talented Riki Rose, Eli Beer, Yosef Goldman, Rivky Susskind, Eli David, Simba Eckhause, and a surprise guest!

Together we will gather, sing, enjoy delicous snacks and spirits, and radiate light as we celebrate this miraculous time.

As a community, we reflect on the past year, and inspire evolution for the year ahead. We have truly amazing things planned for you, and are requesting your help. Please consider making a donation to ensure the Sacred Music Project's continuity.

Our incredible musicians!

Riki Rose is a riveting Yiddish singer, songwriter, musician, comedian, video artist, social media influencer and entertainer. She grew up in a Hasidic family in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Her videos on YouTube and other platforms garner thousands of viewers and feature an eclectic mix of original Yiddish songs, covers, parodies of television shows, reflections on everyday life and even exegeses on sacred texts.

Yosef Goldman:

Rabbi Yosef Goldman is a leading facilitator, educator, and practitioner of Jewish communal music.

As a composer, performer, and ritual artist, Yosef weaves together ancient devotional music from both his Mizrahi and Ashkenazi heritage, as well as contemporary American and Israeli Jewish sacred music, to foster healing, connection, and social change. He has released two acclaimed albums of his own compositions on Rising Song Records —Open My Heart (2019) and Abitah (2023)—and his songs are sung in camps and communities across the US and Israel. He is a sought-after vocalist and collaborator who has contributed to dozens of albums of diverse artists across the soundscape of Jewish music, including as a longtime member of Joey Weisenberg and the Hadar Ensemble. Along with klezmer trombonist Dan Blacksberg, Yosef was selected for the Kimmel Center’s Jazz Residency in 2018-19. Since its founding, Yosef has served as senior advisor to Hadar’s Rising Song Institute, which cultivates Jewish spiritual life through song.

As an independent rabbi, Yosef partners with congregations and their clergy, accompanying them on their path to cultivate vibrant prayer life and foster musical-spiritual creativity.

His latest project is Kedmah, an ensemble of Mizrahi piyyut and sacred music using ancient poetry and song to excavate the power and beauty of the spiritual and artistic expression of Jews from Arab lands.

Eli Beer:

Eli Beer, a renowned musician, composer, and spiritual leader of Ashkenazi Jewish heritage, stems from a prominent lineage of Chazanim and Baalei Tefillah. Deeply rooted in Jewish tradition, Eli's musical journey was shaped by his family's legacy of prayer and song. His undeniable talent emerged early, moving listeners and creating spiritual experiences with his voice and guitar.

As a revered Baal Tefillah in Israel, Eli embraced Breslov teachings and guidance from his local Chevra Nekuda Tova, grounding his musical path in spirituality. Returning to the U.S., he pioneered the Kumzits Movement, revolutionizing Jewish music's role by transforming it into a means of spiritual transcendence, even when guitar-playing was taboo in some Ultra-Orthodox circles.

In 2014, Eli's self-titled debut album received critical acclaim, with "V'hi Rachamecha" gaining international fame as a Jewish community anthem. His soul-stirring melodies are central to Shabbos gatherings worldwide. Influenced by his time in Eretz Yisrael, Eli's prolific songwriting continues as he shares his music globally, inspiring aspiring musicians to explore their paths.

Rivky Susskind is a gifted singer-songwriter and sound healer, known for her enchanting voice, beautiful harmonies and captivating, uplifting energy. Rivky weaves emotion and connection through her music, incorporating an array of genres and influences as well as her own original music to deeply explore themes of life, love, and this wild human experience.

Rivky is a reflective free spirit who is passionate about curating communal experiences that feel like home, where we can show up as ourselves with each other. She envisions a world where we break through age-old barriers to experience true human connection, unity and joy through music, movement, breath, and just being.
