Sacred Tobacco Ceremony

Please join me in welcoming Naomi Katz to New York! We are deeply grateful for this special opportunity to pray in an indigenous Tipi with the master plant, Tobacco.

Naomi carries the blessings to hold these altars from Carmen Vicente,  in the lineage of the Sacred Fire of Itzachilatlan. 

Please bring a cushion to be comfortably seated on the ground, some fruit to share, your instruments, your open heart and warm spirit!

Let's come together to honor this sacred tradition and deepen our connection to the spirit of Tobacco and each other.

Life can sometimes feel like a fast-paced race, but taking a moment to pause, savor a glass of water, and connect with others can bring a refreshing sense of vitality and closeness to the natural world. Reconnecting with these simple pleasures can add depth and color to our lives.

We understand the magic in these connections is within reach. By embracing collaboration and gratitude, we can restore equilibrium, acknowledging our dependence on earth, air, fire, and water. We all originate from the same source.

All our knowledge stems from observing the natural world. We just need to refocus on our relationships—with ourselves, others, our community, and the sacred.

In today's economy, attention is a valuable asset. Numerous choices and demands compete for our energy, often distracting us. Let's reclaim our focus.

Through our ancient connection with the tobacco plant, we raise a prayer to listen attentively to the waters. We'll seek guidance from the waters, asking them to echo love's vibration through our hearts, homes, communities, and the world.
