This is a wheelchair accessible venue and a licensed venue. The courtyard is accessible via a gate (no steps), and a wheelchair accessible bathroom is located inside, via a ramp. Light haze will be in use, there are no strobes.

No BYO. Food and drinks available for purchase.

SDS is a space to dance, prance, relax, connect, cruise and chill.

SDS takes place in Bulanaming/Marrickville, on the unceeded lands of the Gadigal and Wangal people of the Eora Nation.

Location of Goolay’yari River (meaning pelican) and pre colonisation was home to the fertile Gumbamorra Swamp, a vital seasonal wetland and food source for local Aboriginal peoples.

We offer gratitude and respect to the ancestors and the elders past and present.

Sovereignty has never been ceded. To this day, colonisation continues to impact First Nations people’s connections to their land, culture, spirituality, ancestry, language, family and community.

SDS recognises that decolonisation, land back and paying the rent is a non negotiable.

The past, present, future is First Nations.

It always was always will be ABORIGINAL LAND.
