Marz comes from a family that sees them as a failed investment in legacy. A first-generation Pakistani-American trying to survive a life between Queens, and the theater district- they encounter a mystical hijabi drag queen with perfect pitch, a sharp-tongued figure who speaks with the cadence of a dead playwright, and an insufferable British couple who wish they’d been written by one. Is the self Marz clings to really themselves- or just a projected slow burning attempt to be a revolutionary?
