Sadistic Rope - with Sasori and Semenawa Princess

After a series of sell-out workshops in 2024, Studio of Secrets is thrilled to announce the return of Sasori_D and Semenawa Princess.

Sadistic rope is one of the most intense types of scenes that two people can engage in, bringing both the top and bottom to their limits, and often blurring the lines between pain and pleasure. Breaking away from comfortable rope, sadistic rope dives into the void of pain headfirst, providing a unique and rewarding sensation for those that seek it.

In this hands-on class, Sasori_D will cover his approach to sadistic rope scenes at a conceptual and practical level, with an intent to provide tops with a few additional tools to add to their toolbox. Tips will be provided to bottoms, including how to handle difficult positions, what to expect from certain floor ties, and some the risks involved with these activities. Meanwhile Semenawa Princess (Bee) will present techniques for pain processing, things to look out for while being tied in this style, and share her view on the risks of sadistic rope.

This workshop will include:

• The core concepts of sadistic rope, covering how to intentionally incorporate sadism into play as opposed to accidental sadism.
• Safety considerations when modifying your style to incorporate these new concepts, including negotiation, consent and aftercare considerations
• Hands-on exercises demonstrating each core concept and adding simple but effective ties to your toolkit
• Participant Q&A where you can ask questions specific to your style, size dynamic and restrictions

Sasori (He/Him)

Best described as a reaction fetishist, chaos gremlin and sadomasochistic switch, Sasori has spent his kink journey exploring the various means upon which he can elicit yelps, moans, giggles and screams from those he plays with. Initially trained in his home country of Australia, Sasori moved abroad for 8 years engaging various scenes across the US and Europe. As a product of his travels he expanded his repertoire with formal education and a plethora of diverse intensives; the result is a style that emphasizes connection, calculated risk, and jovial sadism within a chaotic and lighthearted package.

Semenawa Princess (They/She)

Bee has been an active member of the Melbourne community for over 2 years. Their interests range over various sadomasochist activities which include impact play, needle play, kinbaku and more. Following their passion in supporting community and advocacy for kink education, they have begun demo bottoming for both performance and education, hoping to help build a stronger community through their efforts.
