Safe Tool Use Workshop 101

This workshop is designed for women and gender-diverse people, but everyone is welcome to attend. In this workshop, you will learn how to use a variety of power and hand tools in a supportive environment while getting to know the Raven Tool Library, a low-cost community tool-sharing program based at Raven ReCentre!

Registration is set as a sliding scale. If this is a barrier for you to participate, please email us at zwassistant@ravenrecentre.org and we can make special arrangements for you.

Our instructor for the workshop is Lydia Veillette. Lydia is a certified Journey-person and Red Seal Carpenter, with eight years of experience working on various projects here in the Yukon. Right now, she’s building her own house and enjoys sharing her knowledge through workshops with different organizations.

She’s incredibly proud to be helping others develop their skills and bringing support to their learning journeys.

8 spots available for this workshop. Food and beverage will be provided. See you there!
