A practical workshop about respect, prevention and the role we can all play in creating a safer community.

The people working across Murrumbidgee Turf Club race days help create an environment where everyone feels safe, welcome and respected.

About the facilitators

Wagga Women’s Health Centre has supported women across Wagga Wagga and surrounds since 1979. Every day, our team sees the lasting impacts of domestic and family violence on women, children, families and our wider community.

Through the DV2650 Network, the Centre combines this frontline experience with trained staff and specialist knowledge in primary prevention. We work alongside local organisations to build understanding, strengthen respectful cultures and support practical action to prevent violence before it begins.

Please register to secure your place. This session is reserved for MTC personnel and MTC race day personnel.

About Men as Allies

This workshop is part of Wagga Women’s Health Centre’s Men as Allies project, which works with men across Wagga Wagga to prevent domestic and family violence. Through partnerships with local organisations and community leaders, the project supports men to promote respect, challenge harmful attitudes and behaviours, and take practical action to help create a safer community.
