Safety Before Desire 28 April
Description
Safety Before Desire
Repairing the Nervous System in Intimacy & Relationship
Online | Tuesday 28 April | 7:00–8:30pm (AEST)
Many people believe something is wrong with them or their relationship when desire fades, connection feels distant, or intimacy becomes overwhelming, pressured, or confusing. In truth, the nervous system must feel safe before the body can open to sensation, connection, and aliveness. When safety is restored, desire does not need to be forced, it naturally begins to return.
This intimate guided 90-minute experience will gently explore the link between nervous system safety, emotional connection, and intimate aliveness. Through simple teaching, guided awareness, and embodied practice, you will begin to understand what your body has been protecting, and how to move toward deeper presence, connection, and possibility, whether you come as an individual or with a partner. There will be space to feel, to notice, and to reconnect with yourself in a grounded and supported way.
You will discover
a greater sense of safety in your body
deeper understanding why desire or connection has shifted
relief from shame or self blame
a new perspective on intimacy and pressure
language to understand the patterns
hope that change is possible
sense of possibility rather than stuckness.
