Sahul Sakti gets PSYCHED!

Improvisation ensemble Sahul Sakti is excited to be bringing a special performance to Bar Oussou! We're going to enter the psychedelic realm with feature artist Declan Burgess, one of the guitarists from the noise rock behemoth - the Paul Kidney Experience!If you thought that Sahul Saktians were a tame gentle lot, well come and just see how wild we can get!

And yes, we can get loud! We did so at The Tote last year when we opened for the Paul Kidney Experience, Black Heart Death Cult, and Spawn!

Sahul Sakti is an improvisation ensemble who draws on the members' post-classical, Brazilian, Asia-Pacific, jazz, and experimental music influences to create a sound that is rooted in friendship, imagination, and a deep exploration of acoustic possibilities. This project is inspired by the great global fusion ensembles such as Yo-Yo Ma's Silk Road Ensemble, Shakti, Dr. L Subramaniam, L.
