    Event description

The Great Dividing Trail Association (GDTA) invites you to join them on the Sailors Creek Evening Ramble.  This walk is part of the Try Bushwalking Month, celebrating the 90th Anniversary of Bushwalking Victoria, the peak body representing 60+ bushwalking clubs across Victoria.

Starting from Lake Daylesford, we will walk past the lake cascade and along Sailors Creek on well-made paths to Tipperary Springs returning along the opposite side of the creek. The route follows a section of the Goldfields Track. We will have a twilight picnic near Lake Daylesford at the conclusion of the walk.

DISTANCE:  10km Loop walk that will take 3 hours

WHO IS THIS WALK FOR? This is a medium walk for beginner bushwalkers or anyone who wants to enjoy the beauty and history of the Central Highlands. Families with children capable of walking the distance are welcome. The walk is mostly on groomed trails. Moderate physical fitness is required. The track is not suitable for wheelchairs or people requiring mobility aids.
