Event description

Explore your taste buds at the Sake Masterclass, presented by
Yukino Ochiai from Déjà Vu Sake Company.

Sake is an ancient beverage and its production has been continually refined over hundreds of years. Whilst commercial bulk produced sake is all we were able to get here in Australia for a long time, there is now a great range of
artesian sake being imported.

Yukino Ochiai is a passionate certified Sake specialist. Born in Nagoya in Japan, Yukino grew up with a family who loved Japanese Sake and considered it a family tradition. She was awarded the Sake Samurai in 2017, the highest honour in the Sake industry. Plus, she is an educator, Kikisake-shi (Master of Sake) and IWC Sake Judge.

We are delighted to have Yukino back in the House to taste her sake range while teaching us about the sake styles from different regions, producers, and manufacturers.
