Lineup

5.30pm tour led by Erykah Jennette
Erykah Jennette is an emerging abstract artist based in Adelaide, South Australia. Known for her bold, vibrant, and psychedelic works, Erykah creates visually immersive pieces that are deeply influenced by her rich cultural heritage and spiritual connection. Drawing inspiration from her African American and Greek roots, her art explores themes of identity, ancestry, intuition, and transformation. Erykah's 90 minute tour covers 1km and three SALA venues, showcasing a range of local talent including artist talks and demonstrations. The tour concludes with a look at Erykah's exhibition at Pirate Life Brewing where you can enjoy music by Oliver John, with food and drink available to purchase.

6.00pm tour led by Danny Jarratt
Danny Jarratt is a South Australian artist whose bright, graphic paintings explore escapism and resistance within systems of social constraint, including heteronormativity, capitalism, and normative expectations. He has exhibited extensively across South Australia as well as nationally and internationally. Jarratt is currently based at Post Office Projects Studio in Port Adelaide, with an upcoming residency in Berlin in 2027. Danny's tour is an exciting mix of contemporary and community art spaces, including exclusive behind-the-scenes artist studio visits, concluding at Second Shot Cocktail bar. Designed for maximum engagement with minimal walking, this tour traverses 300m around the central River Night Walk precinct (Commercial Road). Note that access to the artist studios is via stairs.

6.30pm tour led by Emma Collins
What if visiting a gallery wasn't about finding the "right" interpretation, but about learning to see more deeply? Emma Collins is a South Australian artist whose practice explores identity, consciousness, and the stories we construct about ourselves. Working primarily in expressive figurative painting with rich texture and symbolism, she creates work that invites contemplation rather than certainty. Alongside her studio practice, Emma facilitates conversations that encourage people to slow down, look more deeply, and discover that art is not just something to view—it is something to experience. Emma's guided walking tour of three SALA exhibitions invites you to slow down, look closely, and engage with art through thoughtful observation and conversation. Whether you're an experienced gallery-goer or completely new to contemporary art, this interactive tour will leave you with a new way of looking—not just at art, but at the world around you. Tour concludes at Milledges Distillation Cellar Door and Cafe for a look at Emma's own exhibition. Stay on and enjoy live music by Frets Patrick, with food and drink available for purchase.
