Join us at In Lak’ech Dance Academy for a 6-week journey focused on building confidence, connection, and pure dance joy! This series is for dancers with 6+ months of experience, and we’re here to make sure you feel at home, no matter where you are on your dance journey.

Social dancing is a vibrant and engaging form of expression that transcends cultural and linguistic barriers. At its heart, social dancing focuses on connection, communication, and enjoyment between partners, where each participant listens and responds to the other's movements and cues. Beyond technique, social dance emphasizes etiquette and respect, ensuring that all participants feel comfortable and included. Whether on a crowded dance floor or in an intimate setting, the essence of social dance lies in its ability to foster joy, creativity, and human connection.

When: May 13-June 17, 2025 

Time: Bachata Series 6-7:00pm and Salsa Series 7:15-8:15pm

Where: In Lak’ech Dance Academy, 2885 Ettie Street, Oakland,CA
