The South Coast Salsa Coalition draws inspiration from legendary artists like The Fania All-Stars, Poncho Sanchez, Tito Puente, Spanish Harlem Orchestra, Celia Cruz and others. With a deep respect for the rich history and traditions of Afro-Cuban music, this talented 10-piece band infuses their music with a modern twist that pays homage to the genre's roots. The South Coast Salsa Coalition's performances are a perfect blend of old-school salsa and contemporary Latin jazz that will transport you back in time while keeping you on the dance floor.
