Salt of the Earth was selected for the Adelaide Film Festival 2022, the Short and Sweet Film Festival QLD 2022, the International Alexandria Short Film Festival 2023, Florida Shorts 2022 and a host of other national and international film festivals.  The team producing the film have done interviews with the ABC, the BBC and multiple news sites, all interested in the story of Chicken Salt and its connection to Gawler.
