SAM Presents: Reading Room with the Melbourne Art Library

Join members of the Melbourne Art Library for Reading Room, a monthly online forum that unites art, literature, and visual culture to address issues that we face as a contemporary society. Through conversation and optional reading, participants will dissect a variety of themes and ideas, and are encouraged to contribute their own unique perspectives to the conversation.

You don't need to be an art expert or a historian to join in. No prior knowledge needed - all are welcome. 

Texts for discussion will be sent 1 week ahead of the program. Due to the success of the first four iterations of this program, session times have been extended to 90mins.
