Description

Adults, take a seat — in this hands-on workshop, kids will step behind the easel to paint a portrait of their parents!

Inspired by Loribelle Spirovski’s finger-painted portrait of Daniel Johns in the Archibald Prize 2026, kids and their accompanying adult will first tour the exhibition before heading into the workshop, where each child’s accompanying adult will become their sitter as they create a playful portrait from life using only their hands and fingers.

This workshop is suitable for kids aged 5-12. All participants must be accompanied by an adult.

Date + time: Friday 2 October 

Morning session: 10.00am-11.15am 

Afternoon session: 1pm-2.15pm
