Sam Taunton: This Must Be The Place

As seen on The Project, award-winning comedian Sam Taunton returns to the stage with his brand-new stand-up show, This Must Be The Place.

Sam grew up in a humble fibro house in Nowra, held together with pop-rivets, WD-40 and plenty of character. When his dad sold the family home last year, it sparked a flood of memories about the place where Sam’s story began.

In this hilarious and heartfelt 60-minute show, Sam takes audiences back through a lifetime of suburban misadventures, colorful small-town characters and the strange nostalgia that comes with losing the place that made you. Along the way, he reflects on family, growing up and, almost incidentally, the end of the nightly television show he hosted, The Project.

Sam may say the show is about the house he grew up in, but it is really about everything that happened inside.
