Sanctuary In Conversation | Colour for character: A light-touch, cost-effective way to transform your home
Event description
You don’t always need a major renovation to transform the way a home looks and feels. Small interventions and thoughtful, light-touch changes can bring character, personality and new life to an existing space. And when it comes to light touches, changing up your colour scheme might be the ultimate hack for a more joyful room.
Join us for an informal conversation with Jenny Edwards exploring the apartment she shares with her partner David: why they chose it and the changes they’ve made, including a vibrant new colour scheme. Artist and colour designer Sonia van de Haar will share the thinking behind the colour palette and offer her advice on making the most of colour in the home.
Together, we’ll explore how colour can be a powerful and relatively inexpensive design tool - and how considered choices can make a big impact without major structural changes.
Expect practical advice, visual inspiration and ideas you can apply to your own build, renovation or refresh.
