Sands NZ & VCA 2023 Spring Sessions for Students

The
Sands NZ & VCA 2023 Spring Sessions are for all students whose work involves working with or supporting bereaved whānau. We invite midwifery, nursing, psychology, counselling, medical and sonography students to join us and learn how to provide the best care possible for grieving families.
The Spring Sessions run for eight weeks, from Monday 11th September to Sunday 5th November 2023. You will have access to online content as well as discussion webinars with bereaved parents. The dates for these discussion webinars are still being finalised. This season's topics are:
- Caring for Māori Whānau
- Rainbow Inclusive Care in Baby Loss
- Fathers/Partners and Baby Loss
- Baby Loss Legalities and Definitions
Thanks to Sands NZ this online learning is completely free for all students, no matter what year of study you are in or where you are in Aotearoa.
