Sandy Bay Crack Willow Weed Removal - Information Session
Event description
The City of Hobart's waterways team is about to begin removing environmentally harmful crack willows from the Sandy Bay Rivulet.
This is part of an ambitious three-year project to rid our waterways of this invasive weed.
If you live locally, visit the area, or care about what is happening in the Sandy Bay Rivulet, please join us at this special community information session on Saturday 5 July.
This will be a great opportunity to hear directly from our team about:
Why this project is happening now.
How the crack willows will be removed.
Have your questions about the project answered by our waterways team.
Please register your interest so that we know how many people will be attending on the day.
Don't hesitate to get in touch if you have any further questions.
