Sarah Carroll and the Big Fuss live at the Taproom

Event description

Sarah Carroll and her fabulous band The Big Fuss are coming to town to launch her new album NQR&B! Already receiving heaps of critical acclaim, radio play and sales of the gorgeous fairy floss vinyl, the album features Sarah's strongest songs to date and stellar performances from her beautiful boys Fenn and George on drums and bass, and ace guitarists Shannon Bourne and Leigh Ivin.

The ex-Melbourne, now Bellarine Peninsula-based singer-songwriter and roots-music luminary is known for her work with the likes of GIT, The Pirates Of Beer, Soft Gold, The Left Wing, The Junes and The Cartridge Family, her work with her late husband (legendary harmonica player and singer-songwriter Chris Wilson) and sons Fenn Wilson and George Carroll Wilson, and her decades of broadcasting and music writing experience.

Sarah is an individual who simply oozes musicality: a gorgeous, soulful singer, a beautiful instrumentalist, and someone who has an intrinsic understanding of all manner of roots music. Her songs chime with sincerity and deal largely with her experiences as a teacher, mother, wife, political animal and touring musician.
